Description
WATMAN Messenger Control is a plugin (VST3, AU) and standalone app for macOS and Windows that makes the Moog Messenger hardware synth a DAW instrument: the whole panel on screen, hidden settings, a 64-step sequencer, presets, the synth's memory, and the synth sound saved in your project.
WATMAN Messenger Control (WMC) is a plugin and standalone app for owners of the Moog Messenger analog synth. It shows all 103 synth parameters on screen with two-way sync: turn a knob on the synth and it moves in the plugin, and the other way round. Settings that are reachable only over MIDI get real knobs.
Above all, the sound lives in the DAW project: when the project opens, the plugin sends the Messenger the sound and sequence it was saved with. The 64-step sequencer turns a pattern into a MIDI clip with one drag onto a track, and every write to the synth's memory is preceded by a backup. For live playing there is MPE and aftertouch from MIDI controllers, an XY PAD and a Focus view with large knobs.
WMC runs on macOS 11 or later (Apple Silicon and Intel) and Windows 10/11 as VST3, AU (Mac) and a standalone app. Version 1.0 was released on October 6, 2026. A license costs $45 / €45 / 3,900 RUB, covers up to three computers and needs no internet activation; the trial runs 14 days with every feature.
